My name’s Audrina Gan. As an acclaimed writer and editor with over 15 years of experience behind me, I run The Writing Concept, an editorial consultancy. Before starting my own content and copywriting business, I worked as a financial journalist for The Edge Singapore, a weekly financial newspaper.
During my five year-stint at The Edge Singapore, I interviewed many top executives from major companies, including McDonald’s, Wearnes, Parkway Holdings, Hyflux, Thai Beverage, Singapore Airlines, Asia Pacific Breweries, Fraser and Neave and National Healthcare Group.
I also wrote monthly country supplements for IE Singapore, a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade & Development. These supplements provided an overview of economic, trade and foreign investment issues and opportunities for Singapore-based companies who want to venture overseas.
During my editorial consultancy work, I have written for The Straits Times, The Business Times, Singapore Women Weekly, Channel NewsAsia, NEXT, as well as in custom publications produced by Marina Bay Sands, SingHealth, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Housing & Development Board, National University of Singapore Society, National Healthcare Group, National University Hospital and Maritime Port Authority of Singapore.
In addition, I have also helped organisations to develop editorial content for corporate websites, annual reports, and commemorative books.
My past creative ventures also include working with Singapore-based award-winning interior design & architecture consultancy, Arkhilite, to develop digital content and video interviews for the company’s e-newsletter and social media platforms.
